Mini Shop Update

 Good day to you Friends!

The ETSY shop was truly neglected this summer.  But, I am happy to say, I had a wonderful summer and I wasn't always super tired.  So instead of working like crazy on jewelry, I focused on the Farmers' Market and having fun.  It just so happens I haven't posted an item on ETSY since June, HOLY CROW, here are several offerings.  They are currently in the shop and you can get to the link directly to your right! Thanks for stopping by for a visit, I really appreciate it!!!!!

Happy Turkey Week,
Krissy Lee

Busy Markets and Custom Orders

Good day, eh?
I was looking at my blog posts and noticed I haven't posted pics of jewels in months. It certainly is not because I have been on a smithing hiatus. Frankly, the markets and custom orders have kept me busy as a bee. As a result, shop updates on ETSY are scarce at best. This will change in a month or so when the markets start to slow. I will beef up the shop inventory at this time. Thanks for stopping by for a visit and so have yourself a swell Monday evening.

Mixed Metal Bangles
(sterling, copper, and brass)

Barbed Wire Hoops
(sterling construction,
in the ETSY shop)

Half Hammered Drops
(sterling and turquoise construction)

Organic Rustic Ovals
(sterling construction)

Turquoise Tumbleweed
(turquoise, sterling and 14k gold)

Guitar String Stampings
from my husband
adorn the band.

Custom Order
(turquoise and sterling)

Conjuntos Necklace
(sterling and 14k gold)

Golden Glitzy Earrings

Los Mixtos Stacking Set
(turquoise, chalcedony, sterling, copper, 14k gold)

Turquoise Ring

Turquoise Ring

That's all for now folks.
My hair is dumb and tomorrow I am cutting it off.
And not just a trim either, I am shedding my shaggy mane.
A long hair for only one more day,
Bisquit

A Strong Handshake Makes an Impression

When Hubby and I were in Denver a few weeks ago, I met one of my husband's peers. We met for the first time and then went about our visiting, partying ways and I didn't give it much thought. A bit later in the night, we visited again. He asked me, "Why do you have such a stong handshake?". I already knew this but I thought for just a moment and the reply way easy, "Because my Mom taught me to do so". It is as easy as that and a very important lesson, it does make a difference, and I will always remember. I don't like a limp handshake, I think it has developed into a pet peev of mine. Whether it is true or not, a limp handshake says I am at half mast, and a firm one says I am here and ready to take on the day. A first impression is very important to me and one that I always remember of others.

Mom also taught me that money does not make a person. If you have manners and a bit of hummility a person can interact with anyone. I have found this to be true, as well.

So Mom, I made this necklace for you as a symbol of your motherhood all wrapped up with memories, nastalgia and life lessons made into a silver pendant of pride. YOU did a great job with us kids and we do love you with all our hearts. Sorry it is late, but I learned it from watching you.

See below for your new necklace,
a picture of Nick, Mom and I,
and a picture of a rose bouquet for you.
Sorry, no pics of all us kids :(

Happy Belated Mothers Day!

Mirror, mirror on the wall,
I turned out like my mother,
after all !
And I am okay with this.

Love you MOM!!!!
Your munchkins,
Kristin, Jef and Nick

Mom also has a successful horse business. Check it out here.

Cruiser Season Has Begun

But, you wouldn't know by looking outside. We are on a winter storm warming with 5-10 inches in the valley and 1-2 feet in the mountains. It was snowing sideways today, awesome. I do love the season changes but spring toys with my emotions every year. Just when you think it is spring and your blood has thinned by adjusting to warmer weather, BAM, snow storm. We need the snowpack that is for sure. But good grief!

We have busted out our crusiers and use them to get around town. Bozeman is quite flat and getting more bike friendly as time passes. I have never passed up an opportunity to ride my bike because of attire, MORE CHICKS ON BIKES IN SKIRTS PLEASE. That's my philosophy. I think it is romantic and quite liberating.

Ask my Mom, she has been through some cruiser bike training that included two martinis. She wanted more bikes and drinks!

So here are some recents pics. The ones that were shot at night might have been after one too many blueberry mohitos. Liquid courage...who was driving my bike anyway? The following photos were taken while on my cruiser.

Headlamp, saftey first.

Red Boots
(from my mother-in-law)

Turquoise Dress

The grocery getter with irridescent
turquoise paint and flowers,

Have a great hump evening!

Hefty Shop Update

Good day to you my friends.
I would like to thank you all
for reading and obliging me,
even if only for a short moment of the day.
I do appreciate it.

The Women's Expo was
a success.
I had a ton of fun and sold some goods.
What else can you ask for?

And as it looks,
my marathon pace to complete as many
items as possible by burning the
candle at both ends and sleeping
so little....
was worth it!

But gosh darn it,
I started thinking.
This rampant pace reminded me of
last summer when a full time job and
two farmers' markets of jewelry selling,
really put a damper my life.
I am lucky to have an understanding husband,
but something has to give.

Thanks, Hubby, for putting up with me these last few weeks,
you are the best.

The plan for the summer now, is to make time
to ride my mountain bike, camp, hike,
mushroom hut, cabin,
and whatever else I need to
keep the sails full and my marriage swell.
It sounds executable now,
but I have got to do it.
Work hard and play harder!

Without further banter,
IN THE SHOP NOW,
with more to come:

(please see the ETSY listing for details)

Talk soon,
Biz-dazzled

PS. Has anyone heard of Vagazzling (besides Jess or Kmac)?
If you have, email me...
